Spring 2020 has been strange. Living in the province of Québec (Canada), we’ve been confined for two months, especially in the Montréal area where the pandemic was bad. We were quite cheerfull when we received the unexpected visit of a humpback whale who had decided to leave the salty waters of the St-Lautent Gulf and swim up the river to our city. Bystanders were admiring her spectacular jumps. Unfortunately, after a week or so, she was found dead. The investigation is going on as to find out what happened. This memento is a tribute for the joy she brought us and the sadness of her destiny.
