As someone who has suffered with ME/CFS since the age of 9, I’ve tried a variety of low-energy activities over the years and finally I discovered my love for sewing envelope cushions. My small business, TigerTailTextiles, was created in 2019 when my cushions started to take over the house! Recently, I discovered my love for embroidery which has led me to create embroidery hoop art, embroidered quotes, embroidered jewellery and upcycled embroidered clothing, the perfect thoughtful gifts! I’ve found that embroidery has a relaxing and soothing quality to it so, I wanted to create a product to share my love of embroidery and its benefits with others! As a result, I launched my mindful embroidery kits and PDF patterns, which can be adapted for those with chronic illnesses, with the aim of spreading embroidery and its many benefits to others.
